Mirror and Move Sticky Notes

Delve into the steps for displaying sticky notes on multiple boards

Updated over 7 months ago

Mirror Sticky Notes

Using the mirror function allows you to visualize the same sticky note on multiple boards. For instance:

  • You can visualize a Feature on the ART Planning Board, the Team Board and also on the Solution Planning Board

  • A Dependency is visualized on both Team Boards, on the ART Planning Board and in case you're having a cross-ART dependency it makes sense to visualize the Dependency also on the Solution Planning Board

  • You can visualize a Risk on the Team Board and at the same time bring it up the ART PI Risk Board using the mirror function.

To allow users to mirror sticky notes to other boards, make sure that you've configured it accordingly in the RTE Cockpit.

Visualizing Features on ART / Solution Planning and Team Boards

Initially a Feature (ART-level work item) is visualized on the ART Backlog Board (see primary board)

Move Sticky Notes

With the move functionality you can remove a sticky note on one board and visualize that sticky note on another.

  1. Select a Sticky Note

  2. Click on the "Move" button on the sticky note action toolbar

  3. Select the Board you want to move the sticky to

Be careful in case the sticky note is synced with an ALM-tool. See Impact in case of ALM-Connection
