Special Attributes and Functionalities on Work Item Sticky Notes

A “work item” sticky has these special attributes and functionalities compared to other sticky note types:

  1. An estimation field (WSJF or Story Point).

  2. A status indicators, showing the status class (color) and the status (tooltip)

  3. A progress bar (on ART / Solution Train level work items)

ART level work items

The work item function is usually given to ART / Solution Train sticky types representing work on ART or Solution level such as

  • Features

  • Enablers

  • Capabilities

  • Epics

  • ...

ART level work items in Planning and Execution Mode

In Planning Mode you can see the following Attributes on the Work Item Sticky Note:

  • Sticky Type

  • ALM-ID (In case the sticky type is synched with your ALM-tool)

  • Sticker

  • Links

  • Mirror count (on how many other boards is this sticky note visualized)

  • WSJF-Value (or any other number value configured in the RTE Cockpit)

In Planning Mode you can perform the following Actions on the Work Item Sticky Note

  • Change Sticky Type

  • Change Status

  • Link

  • Mirror

  • Remove/Delete

  • Show Sticky Note Activity


In Execution Mode you can see the following Attributes on the Work Item Sticky Note:

  • Sticky Type

  • ALM-ID (In case the sticky type is synched with your ALM-tool)

  • Sticker

  • Links

  • Mirror count (on how many other boards is this sticky note visualized)

  • Status

  • Progress Bar

In Execution Mode you can perform the following Actions on the Work Item Sticky Note

  • Change Sticky Type

  • Change WSJF-Value (or any other number value configured in the RTE Cockpit)

  • Link

  • Mirror

  • Remove/Delete

  • Show Sticky Note Activity

  • User Stories

  • Enablers

  • Bugs

  • Tasks
