Login Basics
piplanning.io is a web application. You need a computer with a compatible browsers, an internet connection and the web address (URL) to connect.
You will interact with piplanning.io only through the web browser like Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge or Brave.
piplanning.io Cloud (SaaS) customers can obtain the direct web address (URL) from their piplanning.io Admins.
The direct and unique URL for your piplanning.io Cloud (SaaS) instance will follow the following format: https://app.piplanning.io?company=
<company-name>Bookmark that unique piplanning.io URL once you receive it from your Admins, and use that URL going forward.
piplanning.io Cloud (SaaS) Customers

If you do not have the company specific URL, then use the main URL for all piplanning.io Cloud (SaaS) customers which is: https://app.piplanning.io.
piplanning.io On-Premise customers the web address (URL) will be a custom URL provided by the systems administrators or piplanning.io Admins.
Authentication
piplanning.io Cloud Users
Prerequisites:
Your piplanning.io User account (via your work email address) should be registered in the system in advance by an Admin.
You will receive an email with URL to piplanning.io and be directed to set a password for your account.
On the piplanning.io Login Page:
Enter your work email address (make sure your company has already registered with us) and click Continue.
If prompted, select your Organization from the list.
Lastly, enter your password to log in.
piplanning.io On-Premise User Accounts
If your company is using our on-premise deployment, the login process will be done via a custom URL provided by your account admins.
Once you have that unique URL, bookmark it, and then click on that specific URL.
Log in using the native Username Password or the SSO credentials as advised by your Admins.
piplanning.io User Profile
To see and manage your piplanning.io User > Profile follow these steps:
Click on the User avatar in the top navigation bar
Click Profile
Enter a Name for your User account
Verify your User Profile properties:
Company
Role
Email Address
Set your Language preference
Select Language
In your Profile you can select your preferred language. Currently we offer:
English
Spanish
Portuguese
Chinese
French
Security: Password Reset
IMPORTANT: The password reset functionality may be deactivated if you have SSO setup and strict SSO authentication is enforced.
When SSO is enabled then password resets are managed by the Identity Provider (IdP) configured with SSO.
To reset your native piplanning.io login credentials (Password) follow these steps:
Navigate to https://setup.piplanning.io/
Enter your email address in the Email field.
Optional: if you belong to multiple tenant Organizations in piplanning.io, THEN select the Organization button for which you want to change the password.
On the Log in to your Organization page:
Click on the Forgot your password?
Click herelink.
On the Forgot your password page: Enter your email address in the Email field and click Reset password button.
On the Check your email page: Go to your email Inbox and follow the instructions in the email with the temporary link to reset the password.
ALM User Mapping
