Manually Trigger sync of an individual iteration
Manually Trigger sync of an individual iteration

On the team board, iterations can be synched individually, pulling the status out of the ALM tool

Updated over a month ago

In case webhooks do not properly work, manually trigger the sync for an individual iteration allow users to pull in the latest status out of the ALM-tool into an individual iteration on the team board.
โ€‹Note: The status in your ALM-tool is always master

How to re-sync an iteration

  1. In the piplanning app: go to the team-board you want to sync

  2. In the iteration of your choice, you find the iteration-menu on the top right (3 vertical dots), select "Synchronize Iteration", and confirm the popup.

Consider the following situation: If a work item moved to another iteration (from iteration A to iteration B) in the ALM tool, and you sync iteration A in the app, the corresponding sticky will get removed from that iteration in the app. To make the sticky appear again in the app, you will need to manually sync iteration B as well. (You could also sync iteration B in the first place => will move the sticky from iteration A to iteration B in the app)
