Prerequisites
piplanning.io: navigate to RTE Cockpit > SSO
Okta: navigate to Applications menu in the Okta portal
Steps for setting up SSO with Okta
Create a new Application in Okta
Choose the Web platform option
Creating an Okta Application > select Web platform
Enter the following Okta Application Settings
Name | Enter a valid name for example: piplanning.io |
Login Redirect URIs |

Okta Application Settings
Connecting piplanning.io to Okta
Prerequisite: Navigate to the Okta Application > General tab opened in a separate tab
Navigate to the RTE Cockpit > SSO page
Click OpenID Connect
Enter a Connection Name
Check the checkbox Automatically discover endpoints
+Add Issuer: Copy the value in the Okta domain field on General tab > in the General Settings section
Append
/oauth2/defaultto the Okta domain value.
+Add Client ID: from the Client Credentials section > Client ID field.
+Add Client secret: from the same section > Client secret field
Check the radio button Authentication > POST Authentication
Enter
emailas the Email claim value
