How To Video for Setting Up and Managing External Dependencies

By default an extra Swimlane is added to the #6 ART Planning Board &gt; Settings tab in the PI Session set up.

By default the name of this extra Swimlane is <code>External Org</code>. Please rename that to be what is appropriate for your companies Ways of Working (WoW).

This is the swimlane where any Dependency sticky note assigned to an External Orgs (external vendor, external team outside the ART, 3rd party etc.) will live.

IF you do not wish to use this additional swimlane on the ART Planning Board you must delete this extra swimlane during the PI Session set up. Note: Only during the initialization of the PI Session can you delete this extra swimlane.

+Add the External Orgs to the Swimlane as the External Org objects represent the different types of 3rd party or external vendors you want to assign to the Dependencies that will be managed as External Dependencies.

For Solution Train PI Sessions only, you can apply the same additional Swimlane and External Orgs across all ART Planning Boards or customize the set up of each ART Planning Board.
